Event Showcases Transpired Solar Collectors on the roof of Lampeter Comprehensive School in Lampeter

The Sustainable Building Envelope Demonstration (SBED) B&Q event showcased the roof installation of Transpired Solar Collectors in Lampeter Comprehensive School on 4th December 2014 in Lampeter Leisure Centre.

The showcase event was well attended by building owners, electricians, energy management consultants, engineers, energy and quantity surveyors, architects, solar energy suppliers and property and facilities managers from Wales.

Speakers included Huw Jenkins, Dylan Dixon, Charles Drozynski and Diana Waldron from Cardiff University, Daniel Pillai and Neil Eccles from Tata Steel, Keith Morgan from Ceredigion County Council, Dafydd Charles and Max Zinn from Lampeter Comprehensive School.

The event was followed by a site visit to Lampeter Comprehensive School to view the roof installation of Transpired Sollar Collectors and the internal duct work inside the building.
