The first Transpired Solar Collector installation in the UK took place in 2005 at the profiling mill in Evenwood, County Durham, England and consisted of an area of 410m2 of Transpired Solar Collectors (TSCs) to the South East Façade. This is one of 16 installations now active in England, with another 5 in Wales. The total combined Transpired Solar Collectors’ area in the UK exceeds 12,500 m2.
